[DNR] All Hallows’ Eve Celebration at Chain O’Lakes SP, Oct. 27

Entry Description
Chain O’Lakes State Park will celebrate All Hallows’ Eve on Saturday, Oct. 27, with hayrides, pumpkin decorating and other activities designed to entertain little ghosts and goblins.

Activities start at noon and last until 10 p.m. All activities are open to the public and take place in the campground.

Hayrides will run throughout the afternoon for a recommended donation of $1 per person. All other activities are free after the standard entrance fee of $5 per in-state vehicle or $7 per out-of-state vehicle.

Pumpkin decorating is from 1-2:30 p.m.; trick-or-treating is from 2:30-4:30 p.m.; and a costume parade is at 4:30 p.m. At dusk, the Garrett Boy Scout Troop 178 Haunted Trail will begin.

All campground roads will be closed to vehicular traffic during trick-or-treating. Visitors should arrive in advance to park and walk.
