[DNR] “Talk” to DNR Archaeology Expert on Facebook, Oct. 19

Entry Description
In honor of National Archaeology Day, Oct. 19, Facebook followers of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources can “talk” online with Senior Archaeologist Amy Johnson on Friday, Oct. 19, from 1-2 p.m., on the DNR’s Facebook wall.
 
Participants can ask questions about collecting artifacts, archaeological sites in Indiana and laws protecting those sites. Followers who would like to get their artifacts identified can email or post their jpg images for Johnson to identify. Images can be emailed in advance to dkrause@dnr.in.gov or posted on the DNR Facebook wall at Facebook.com/INdnr.
 
Future topics, instructions on how to join a conversation on Facebook, and commenting guidelines are posted at dnr.IN.gov/7315.htm.

To join a chat, go to the DNR’s Facebook wall, Facebook.com/INdnr, and click “like” (if you aren’t already a “friend”).
You may begin typing in questions during the time slot. The DNR experts will answer questions as time allows.
