[DNR] Halloween Bash at Fort Harrison SP, Oct. 25-27

Entry Description
With movies, haunted hayrides, costume contests and plenty of other activities, the Halloween Bash at Fort Harrison State Park, Oct. 25-27, promises a screaming good time.

All events are free after the standard admission fee, $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle.

The Bash starts Thursday, Oct. 25, with Halloween movies, popcorn and “bug juice” at the nature center. Kid-friendly movies start at 3 p.m. , and scary movies start at 8 p.m.

On Friday, the Soldier’s Haunt haunted hayride starts at 7:30 p.m. Since seating is limited, the Soldier’s Haunt rides are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Saturday’s events are crafts and games and a coloring contest at 2 p.m., costume contests for kids and dogs at 3 p.m., a weenie and marshmallow roast at 5 p.m., the announcement of contest winners at 6:30 p.m., and Soldier’s Haunt haunted hayride at 7:30 p.m.
