[ISDA] ISDA Welcomes New Staff

The Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) would like to welcome a couple of new staff members to ISDA.

Coty Back is the new Assistant Director of Leadership Programs for the Indiana FFA Program housed under ISDA. Back is a former FFA National Officer and facilitator of the Washington Leadership Conference in Washington DC and was a sales representative for Dow AgroSciences. Among his many awards, Back is a recipient of the Kentucky Colonel, the highest title of honor bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky given by the Governor and the Secretary of State to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to a community, state or the nation.

Back is a Kentucky native and 2009 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He currently lives in Indianapolis and loves to get back home to Kentucky to spend time with his family. He also enjoys anything outdoors, playing sports (especially golf) with his friends, and volunteering with his church and other organizations within the community.

Sarah Wolf is the new Resource Specialist in the Jasper County field office as part of the Division of Soil Conservation team. Before joining ISDA, Wolf worked for Eli Lilly Tippecanoe Laboratories, Wildlife Habitat Recreation Area in Lafayette, as well as Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Soil Conservation. She brings to the position a wealth of experience in wetland construction, tall grass prairie restoration, forest restoration, water- quality monitoring and environmental education.

Wolf is an Indiana native from Montgomery County. She received a Master of Science degree in Agronomy from Purdue University in 2010, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University in 2006. She lives in Rensselaer and enjoys hiking and learning.
