Description:
The Office of the Secretary of Family and Social Services will hold a public hearing on a proposed rule adding 405 IAC 5-34-7.1 to add the definition for curative care services and amending 405 IAC 5-34-5, 405 IAC 5-34-6, and 405 IAC 5-34-7 to add face-to-face encounter requirements for continued hospice eligibility and to allow Medicaid recipients less than twenty-one (21) years of age to receive curative care services concurrently with hospice services and add plan of care requirements for such concurrent services.  The propsed rule amendments would not impose requirements or costs under IC 4-22-2-24(d)(3).  All parties interested in the proposed rule are invited to attend the public hearing and to offer public comments.
