PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION MUST BE MADE THROUGH THE ACADIS REGISTRATION SYSTEM.

Enrollment for this course will be accepted only for officers who meet the following prerequisites.

• Basic Course graduate, minimum of 3 years law enforcement experience.
• Documentation of successful completion of an LETB-approved Instructor Development Course.

Topics to be covered during classroom work and skills practice include physical laws of motion, restraint systems, six elements of defensive driving, problems with student drivers, civil liability, and how to set up skills situations.

Cost: $550 Resident/$400 Commuter
Out-of State: $660 Resident/$480 Commuter
Inservice Credit: 40 hours

If a department needs to cancel a student from an ILEA inservice class, it must be done no later than five (5) working days prior to the start of the class. If a student does not show up or cancellation is made any closer to the start of the class the agency will be responsible for payment in full for this class.
