[DNR] Spring Mill State Park hosts Pioneer Heritage Days, Aug. 2-3

Entry Description
Experience 19th century life at Spring Mill State Park’s Pioneer Heritage Days, Aug. 2-3.

Visitors can see a weaver create rag rugs on a 200-year-old loom, watch spinners turn wool into yarn, observe the broom maker hand-tying brooms, and see how the blacksmith turns metal into utensils.

Visitors also can make a small cornhusk doll, play pioneer games and more.

Sunday, Aug. 3, is the quilt show from noon to 4 p.m. If you have a quilt you would like to display, call the park to find out how.

Park admission is $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle. Annual Entrance Passes are also available.
