[ISP] Impaired Driver Stopped for Driving 88 mph on I-69

Entry Description
Pike County – This afternoon at approximately 3:25, Trooper Brent Gramig stopped the driver of a 2007 Chrysler van for traveling 88 mph on I-69 near the 40 mile-marker. When Trooper Gramig approached the vehicle he detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana. The driver was identified as Gary Crickmer, 46, of Chandler. Further investigation revealed Crickmer had been smoking marijuana just prior to being stopped for speeding. A search of Crickmer and his vehicle revealed a bag of marijuana, a marijuana pipe, three glass pipes used to smoke meth and a small bag of meth. Crickmer was arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail where he is currently being held without bond.
