End Date: 6/14/2014End Time: 6:00 PM
Entry Description
John Ireland House
429 East Anderson St., Greencastle, IN
Cost: $10/adult, $5/child

This ornately-detailed Italianate c. 1887, recently restored by Depauw University, was originally built by the owner of a mill yard who used the house to beautifully showcase his craft. Free buses will be provided periodically from here to the Forest Hills Cemetery, for an opportunity to see the unique Civil War Monument and learn about restoration plans (to which the proceeds of this house tour are donated).

This event is part of Preservation Month. Throughout the month of May, DHPA and other local organizations highlight historic preservation around the state. To learn more about Preservation Month, please visit http://www.in.gov/dnr/historic/2800.htm.
