Sullivan County---Tips from the public, provided to the Indiana State Police Putnamville District, has resulted in yet another methamphetamine arrest.

Possession of precursors D-Felony
Illegal dumping of a controlled waste D-Felony

On Wednesday, April 3, tips and other investigative information led Indiana State Police Trooper Brent Robinson, currently assigned to the ISP Putnamville Meth Lab Enforcement Team, to a residence at 605 South Coal Street, Dugger. At the residence, an active methamphetamine lab and several articles related to previous methamphetamine manufacturing were located. No finished product was found, but the significant amount of evidence located strongly suggests that methamphetamine manufacturing had been occurring at the home for some time.

Assisting were ISP Troopers B.J. Patterson, Jonathan Cumbie, Michael Taylor, and Tyler Van Ness along with Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies Sgt. William Snead and Eric Cox.

The Indiana State Police Putnamville District strongly encourages the public to continue providing methamphetamine related tips to the Meth Lab Enforcement Team at 765-653-4114. Callers can remain anonymous.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
