Entry Description
Knox County – Thursday afternoon, March 7, Indiana State Police searched the Vincennes area for Shane Burke, 38, of Vincennes, after obtaining information a felony warrant had been issued for his arrest for failing to appear in Lawrence County, Illinois, for possession of methamphetamine and a controlled substance.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. yesterday evening, troopers received information Burke was at a residence located at 429 North 3rd Street, Apartment 2, Vincennes. When troopers arrived at the residence the homeowner answered the door. A quick search of the apartment was conducted and troopers found Burke and his girlfriend, Stephanie Snider, 21, in one of the bedrooms. Troopers also found meth, drug paraphernalia and 18 used syringes. Burke and Snider were arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail where they are currently being held on bond. The homeowner was not arrested.

1. Possession of Meth, Class D Felony
2. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor
3. Warrant – Failure to Appear for Possession of Meth and a Controlled Substance
