[ISP] Marion County DUI Checkpoint Results

Entry Description

Indianapolis, IN- Friday night, March 8th, and early Saturday morning, the Indiana State Police Post at Indianapolis conducted a operating while impaired checkpoint and saturation patrol in Marion County and the Indianapolis District. Twenty three troopers from the Indianapolis Post participated in the detail to aggressively seek and arrest impaired drivers.

The checkpoint and saturation patrol resulted in five impaired drivers being arrested, one other alcohol related arrest, one criminal arrest and four traffic tickets issued.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
