March Is Agriculture Appreciation Month in Indiana!
Governor Mike Pence has declared March Agriculture Appreciation Month in Indiana.
The Hoosier celebration is an extension of National Ag Day, March 19.

All Day Indiana Small Farm Conference
The Indiana Small Farm Conference will provide small farmers with opportunities to learn and interact with other farmers, producers, extension educators, researchers and students.
Indiana Agriculture Director, Gina Sheets will be speaking March 2. There will be sessions about crop production, hoop houses, livestock production, processing and marketing produce and goods, energy, and small farm management. 3:30 p.m. Distinguished Agriculture Alumni Awards
The Distinguished Agriculture Alumni Award was created in 1992 to recognize mid-career alumni of Purdue's College of Agriculture. Honorees must have demonstrated a record of outstanding accomplishments, have made significant contributions to his/her profession or society in general, and exhibit high potential for future professional growth.
