State Sen. Jim Buck (R-Kokomo) made the following statement regarding the expansion of Chrysler in North Central Indiana.

STATEHOUSE (Feb. 28, 2013) — “I am pleased to hear the announcement today of Chrysler’s intent to expand their transmission operations in North Central Indiana. This is a great opportunity for employment, thanks to a collaborative effort between Chrysler, the United Auto Workers, Kokomo, Tipton and the state of Indiana.

“As the chair of the Senate’s Committee on Commerce, Economic Development and Technology, I will continue working on ways to attract other employers to invest in Indiana. Congratulations to those who helped make this expansion in our area possible.”
