Work on State Road 62 Progresses
Crews scheduled to work overtime for completion
FRIENDSHIP, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that repairs on State Road 62 (S.R. 62) in Ripley County for slide correction is ramping up. INDOT has been working with HIS Constructors to expedite repairs by operating on Saturdays in order to minimize driver inconvenience.
Crews returned to the site on Monday, February 25th, to begin on the remaining 200 feet of excavation work. S.R. 62 is expected to reopen by mid May, 2013; Completion of the project is weather dependant. INDOT will continue to work closely with the contractor for options that may advance completion.
