Lane to be Restricted on U.S. Route 41

Restriction needed to allow bridge to be inspected

 

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists to be aware of temporary lane restrictions on U.S. Route 41 (U.S. 41) near Eagle Creek Slough.  Beginning Monday, February 25, bridge inspections will be conducted on the northbound bridge over Eagle Creek Slough.  The bridge is located approximately 0.50 mile south of Interstate 164/Veteran’s Memorial Parkway. 

 

The passing lane of northbound U.S. 41 will close beginning at approximately 7:00 a.m. local time and remain restricted as late as 5:00 p.m. local time.  Inclement weather may cause the restriction dates and times to be delayed.
