Entry Description INDIANAPOLIS – BY UNANIMOUS VOTE IN BOTH CHAMBERS OF THE INDIANA GENERAL ASSEMBLY, A BILL THAT WILL PREVENT A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE FOR INDIANA FARMERS AWAITS THE GOVERNOR’S FINAL APPROVAL. SENATE BILL (SB) 319 WILL REVERT THE FACTORS THAT DETERMINE SOIL PRODUCTIVITY TO MARCH 2011 LEVELS. CO-AUTHORED BY SENATOR RICHARD D. YOUNG JR. (D-MILLTOWN), THIS IS THE FIRST BILL TO BE APPROVED BY BOTH CHAMBERS.
