Entry Description
Sellersburg-Today shortly before noon, a trooper from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg was behind a blue 1998 Ford pickup truck south on Interstate 65 near Sellersburg. As the trooper was behind the pickup truck he noticed the driver texting and the blue Ford pickup truck left the roadway several times as the texting was occurring.
As the trooper stopped the vehicle near the Eight Mile Marker in Clark County he could sense something was not right with the driver. After further investigation troopers searched the truck and located several controlled substances to include, Hydrocodone, Xanax, Opana and Alprazolam. A hypodermic needle and $1,445.00 in U.S. currency were also located.
The driver, Johnnie Sizemore, aka “John-John”, 27, from Austin, IN was arrested at the scene and charged with Dealing in a Schedule Two Controlled Substance, B Felony; Possession of a Schedule Two Controlled Substance, D Felony; Possession of a Schedule Three Controlled Substance, D Felony; Possession of a Schedule Four Controlled Substance, D Felony (Two Counts); Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, D Felony; Possession of a Legend Drug, D Felony (Four Counts); Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony; and Texting While Driving, Infraction.
Johnnie Sizemore, aka “John-John” was incarcerated in the Clark County Jail awaiting his first court appearance. The money located was seized. |
