Charlestown-Yesterday in the evening hours, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg with the assistance of officers from the Charlestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 220 Arlington Avenue in Charlestown. Trooper Rob Caudill was granted a search warrant as part of an investigation into suspected illegal drug activity allegedly taking place at the residence. During the search, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized.

Arrested were Ellen M. Johnson, 55, of 220 Arlington Avenue, Charlestown and her son Michael D. Campbell, 36, also of 220 Arlington Avenue, Charlestown.

Both subjects were incarcerated in the Clark County Jail on the charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, D Felony, Dealing in Marijuana, A Misdemeanor and Possession of Marijuana, A Misdemeanor.

All subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
