Entry Description
Daviess County: Yesterday morning at approximately 7:15 Ashley Roach, 29, Loogootee, was traveling westbound on US 50 near County Road 450 E when her 2004 Toyota was struck from behind by a white 2001 KIA. After the crash the driver of the KIA, Brian C. Jordan, 39, Evansville continued West on US 50. A short time later Knox County Deputy Kenny Laidle located the driver and vehicle in Wheatland.
Through the course of the investigation enough probable cause was established and Jordan was arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a .19% Blood Alcohol Content and Driving While Suspended.
Jordan was transported to the Knox county Jail without incident.
The crash is still under investigation. Roach was not injured.
Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. |
