The Indiana State Mining Board will meet at Vincennes University Construction Tech Bldg. Conference Room, 324 West Red Skelton Boulevard, Vincennes, IN on April 3, 2013 at 9:00 a.m., E.S.T. to:

1. Review test applications for certification testing

Testing for State Certification for the following classifications will be held on April 13, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Vincennes University Indiana Center for Applied Technology Building, 1500 Chestnut Street, Vincennes, IN:

Mine Foreman certifications – allows miners to supervise the entire shift at the mine site and also to examine the mine in its entirety;

Mine Examiner – allows miners to supervise a working crew in the mine and to also examine the mine in its entirety;

Belt Examiner – allows miners to examine the belt lines only;

Hoisting Engineer – allows miners to operate the hoisting transportation at the mine sites;

Shot Firer – allows miners to use permissible explosives in the mines;

Registration:  7:15 a.m.

Fee :  $25.00 due at registration
