2013 Annual Conference of Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts:
The Power of Conservation: Today’s Actions, Tomorrow’s Rewards
ISDA will have a booth at the annual Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts Conference. This event brings together conservationists from Indiana’s 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Indiana watershed organizations and technical staff from state and federal agencies converging upon Indianapolis. The individuals from these organizations help Hoosiers everyday to conserve land, water, forests, wildlife and related natural resources that encompass our state’s 23 million acres. 8:30 a.m. State Soil Conservation Board Meeting
ISDA staff will join State Soil Board Members as they kick off the annual Conference of Indiana Soil and Water Conservation Districts. The State Soil Conservation Board administers the Clean Water Indiana Fund, a water quality-related erosion and sediment reduction program and also provides guidance and coordination to the state’s 92 Soil and Water Conservation Districts, as they provide local leadership in the protection of Indiana's soil and water resources.

7:30 a.m. Indiana Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts Legislative Breakfast
Director Joe Kelsay will join other conservation partners for this annual event for local legislators as they begin 2013 Indiana Legislative Session.
