[DNR] Give your child “Beaver Fever” at Paynetown SRA, Jan. 19

Entry Description
Children ages 8 to 14 are invited to a free program about beavers on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Monroe Lake.

“Beaver Fever” will be at 2 p.m. at the activity center in Paynetown State Recreation Area, 4850 S. State Road 446 in Bloomington.

In this 90-minute program, children will learn about beaver biology, discover what Indiana’s largest rodent does during winter and explore how these natural “engineers” build their dams and lodges.

During the final portion of the program, children will use what they have learned to build and test their own mini version of a beaver dam.
