Lane Restrictions for Sherman Minton Lighting Maintenance
Work Will Not Impact Rush Hour Traffic
NEW ALBANY – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces lane restrictions on the Sherman Minton Bridge over the Ohio River for lighting maintenance. The lane closure is not expected to impact rush hour traffic.
Beginning Thursday, December 13, crews will close a lane each day to perform lighting maintenance on the bridge. The restrictions will be daily, 5 days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Work will begin on the upper deck of the bridge that carries I-64 westbound traffic over the Ohio River. This work will have a four week completion period, weather dependant.
