Tippecanoe County-Today at approximately 6:43 a.m. on I-65 northbound at the 173 mile marker (that is one mile north of the State Road 26 exit), a semi rolled onto its side sending the co-driver to the hospital.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that Sergeant Kim Riley rolled up on the crash that had just occurred on the northbound side. The driver Jeffrey Haas Price, 42 years old from Joshua, TX.driving a maroon 2010 Freightliner owned by C. R. Price was checked out by Tippecanoe County EMS and refused treatment. The co-driver, Goree Lyn Carr, 43 years old from Dallas, TX who was asleep in the bunk area of the tractor was transported to IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, IN with complaint of shoulder pain. The right lane of I-65 at the 173 mile marker will be shut down for approximately three hours for cleanup of the crash scene. No citations have been issued at this time. Seatbelt was worn by the driver.

The crash was investigated by Trooper Darrick Scott with assistance from Sergeant Kim Riley, Indiana State Police Motor Carrier Division Master Trooper Mike Probasco, Tippecanoe County EMS and the Lafayette Fire Department.
