| [ISP] One Injured in Northern Perry County Crash |

Entry Description
Perry County: Sunday morning at a approximately 11:26 CST the Indiana State Police investigated a two vehicle crash at the intersection of SR 62 and SR 145 that injured one person.
Preliminary investigation reveals that Karen A. Ubelhor, 62, St. Meinrad, had been traveling west on SR 62 and had stopped her white 2008 Cadillac CTS at the intersection. As she began to pull into the intersection, she failed to see a silver 2000 Chevrolet Impala driven by Lesa A. Lasher, 57, Bristow traveling south on SR 145. Ubelhor’s Cadillac impacted Lasher’s Chevrolet on the left side.
Lasher was air-lifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville where she was treated and released. Ubelhor was not injured. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged in the crash. Sgt. Jon Deer estimated the total amount of damage to the vehicles to be approximately $15,000.

Under the law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. |
