State Sen. Ron Alting (R-Lafayette) made the following statement today regarding his inclusion in the Howey Politics Indiana Power 50 — a ranking of influential Indiana leaders:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 18, 2013) — “I am extremely humbled to be mentioned among so many fellow Hoosier Leaders that I admire and respect.

“I appreciate the support from our Senate leadership that allows me the opportunity to chair the Senate Committee on Public Policy. I am also grateful for the support I have received over the years from colleagues that have helped turn a small idea into significant legislation and make Indiana a better place to live.”
