Entry Description
On 01/24/2013 just before 8:00 PM, Troopers with the Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Task Force located an active Meth Lab at 8630 East State Road 54 in Bloomfield. An ongoing investigation led troopers to this address where a subsequent search located mixed chemicals, Colman camp fuel, starting fluid, ammonium nitrate, lithium strippings, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide lye, pseudoephedrine and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine.
Troopers witnessed the suspect, JUSTIN ANTHONY in the act of manufacturing methamphetamine at the residence. Troopers also located 6 children between the ages of 2 and 14 years. Child Protective Services was contacted to ensure the safety of the children.
Justin Anthony, 31 of Bloomfield was incarcerated in the Greene County Jail on the following offenses;
1) Manufacturing methamphetamine "B" Felony
2) Possession of precursors with intent to manufacture "D" Felony
3) Taking a child or endangered adult to a nuisance "D" Felony
The investigation is ongoing and could lead to other arrests. |
