Entry Description
State Sen. Vaneta Becker (R-Evansville) made the following statement today in response to Gov. Mike Pence’s State of the State Address:
STATEHOUSE (Jan. 22, 2013) – “It’s encouraging to have another fiscally responsible governor join legislators at the Statehouse. We must continue to be cautious with spending while also finding new ways to promote job creation, education and health services, especially in Southwest Indiana.
“It’s my hope that Hoosiers — whether Democrat or Republican — will contact their elected officials and share bold ideas on how to improve our state. We must choose a path for Indiana that will support residents of all walks of life, from those who are seeking employment to those who are looking for a great place to retire, and everyone in between.”
