State Sen. Greg Walker (R-Columbus) made the following statement regarding Gov. Pence’s State of the State Address:

STATEHOUSE (Jan. 22, 2013) — “I applaud Gov. Pence on his dedication to getting more Hoosiers back to work. During this legislative session, we’re working to expand the pro-growth policies that let businesses do what they do best—build things, develop ideas and create jobs. In his State of the State Address, the governor highlighted that Indiana is currently one of the most job-friendly states in the nation, thanks to a fundamental understanding that the private sector, not government, creates jobs.

“As a member of the Senate Commerce, Economic Development and Technology committee, I will continue to fight for policies that promote job creation and keep Indiana open for business.”
