Entry Description
Sullivan County—Last evening at 8:24 p.m., the Indiana State Police, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, and Sullivan Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a bomb at the McDonald’s Restaurant located at 755 West Wolfe Street in Sullivan.
Officers arrived and during their investigation were able to determine that an employee on break had made the 911 call reporting the bomb. Further investigation revealed there were no explosive devices found and the report was false.
ISP Trooper Tyler Van Ness took the employee into custody and incarcerated him in the Sullivan County Jail for criminal false reporting.
Arrested: Tullie R. Evans, age 31, of Shelburn, Indiana. Evans was charged with False Reporting, a Class D felony. His bond was set at $8000 with 10% acceptable.
