I-465 Paving Saturday

East of Allisonville Rd.

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors will restrict traffic lanes Saturday night on I-465 between the 82nd Street overpass and Allisonville Road on the city’s northeast side.

 

Crews will restrict westbound I-465 to a single lane beginning at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 until 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 for paving operations.

 

Paving operations will resume Sunday night at 7 p.m., although no lane restrictions are expected. 

 

I-465 in both directions will have a 45 mph work zone speed limit in effect when signs are flashing during working hours.  Drivers should reduce speeds on I-465 and the Allisonville Road ramps.  Drivers should be alert for construction workers in the area, heavy trucks entering and exiting the roadway and Indiana State Police patrolling the work zone.
