Entry Description
Franklin County: Monday, September 17 shortly after 6:00 p.m. members of the Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Section executed a search warrant at 15155 New Harmony Road in Bath, IN after a lengthy investigation. According to Trooper Nate Raney, the New Harmony Road investigation was the result of information obtained during a Meth investigation in Liberty, IN that began late last year and resulted in an arrest in Union County. Information obtained during the Union County investigation led Tpr. Raney to believe methamphetamine was being manufactured at the residence on New Harmony Road. After several months of investigation, Tpr. Raney obtained enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence. Located during the execution of the search warrant were various items including precursors commonly associated with the manufacture of Methamphetamine. Arrested was 47 year old Kevin Thomas of Bath, IN. He was arrested without incident and is facing charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (all Class D Felonies). Tpr. Raney was assisted at the scene by other troopers.
Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. |
