[INDOT] Indiana Department of Transportation ADA Community Advisory Working Group Meeting in Indianapolis, Marion County

Entry Description
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold a meeting with its Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Community Advisory Working Group on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the College Avenue Branch Library located at 4180 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46205.  INDOT is working with its ADA Community Advisory Working Group to identify ways to enhance INDOT programs, initiatives and services in relation to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and all related statutes, regulations and directives.  This meeting is open to the public and INDOT encourages interested persons to please attend.

With advance notice of 7days (if possible), INDOT can make accommodations for persons with disabilities who would like to attend and participate during the meeting.  If you require accommodations such as auxiliary aids for sight and/or hearing impaired persons, please contact INDOT's Office of Public Involvement at (317) 232-6601 rclark@indot.in.gov.  Additionally, if you are an individual with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and require accommodations such as language interpretation/translation services, please contact INDOT's Office of Public Involvement.
