What:  Dedication of Trooper Earl L. Brown Memorial Mile

When:  Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Indiana Department of Transportation-185 Agrico Lane, Seymour, IN

Why: To dedicate a one mile stretch of S.R. 11 in the memory of Trooper Earl L. Brown, Indiana State Trooper killed in the line of duty August 31, 1955 just south of the Jackson/Bartholomew County line on S.R. 11 (known as Highway 31A in 1955).

Media should plan to arrive no later than 9:45 a.m.
