Entry Description

Henry County – Pendleton Post Marijuana Eradication Troopers, along with other Pendleton Troopers, served a search warrant today at 7187 N. CR 200 West, in Springport, located in north west Henry County.  The warrant was the result of a tip and investigation into possible marijuana plants being grown on the property.

Officers discovered 45 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, ranging in height from four feet to ten feet tall, on the property.  Arrested was Larry B. Willis, age 42, for Cultivating Marijuana over 30 Grams, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both Class “D” Felonies.  He was lodged at the Henry County Jail with a $10,000 bond.

Also arrested at the residence was Ashley E. Hill, age 28.  She was charged with Cultivating Marijuana over 30 Grams, Class “D” Felony.  She was lodged at the Henry County Jail with a $5,000 bond.  The marijuana had a street value of over $50,000.

Often grow operations like this one are discovered as a result of an anonymous tip. Anyone with information about illegal drug use may call the Pendleton Post at 1-800-527-4752, or the Indiana State Police Drug Tip Line at 1-800-453-4756. Tips can be made and kept anonymous.
