Sullivan County—Acting on a tip from the Carlisle community and a subsequent search of local pharmacy pseudoephedrine purchase logs led Indiana State Police troopers to the Jimmy D. Turner residence located at 110 East Hackett Street in Carlisle, IN. Troopers arrived at the residence around 1p.m. today and located Mr. Turner sitting in his gray 1989 Dodge Dakota pickup. Inside the truck, troopers allegedly found an active “one pot” meth lab capable of producing grams of finished methamphetamine within 10-15 minutes of their arrival. The residence was within 1000 feet of the Carlisle Elementary School.

The investigation was conducted by ISP Methamphetamine Suppression Officer Trooper Shilo Raulston. Assisting were ISP Troopers Brent Robinson and Michael Featherling.

The lab was seized and dismantled for clean-up by Troopers Raulston and Robinson.
