I-465 to be Diverted to the Ramps
At Allisonville Road Interchange

INDIANAPOLIS –Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors will reroute traffic on Interstate 465 tonight and tomorrow night at Allisonville Road.  Walsh Construction, the state’s prime contractor for the $19 million bridge and interchange reconstruction, began installing steel beams for the new bridge last week and will install deck pans and overhangs this week.

Beginning tonight at 9 p.m., the left lane of eastbound and westbound I-465 will be restricted.  At 10 p.m., I-465 westbound will be directed to exit and re-enter the interstate via the Allisonville Road ramps.  I-465 eastbound will be diverted to the ramps at 11 p.m.  All I-465 traffic will be returned to its normal pattern by 6 a.m. Wednesday.  The restriction and traffic pattern will repeat Wednesday night and return to normal by 6 a.m. Thursday morning.
