Entry Description
Fort Wayne, IN—Troopers from the Indiana State Police arrested a 34 year old Kendallville man early this morning at a Fort Wayne hotel on a Class A Felony warrant out of LaGrange County and additional charges stemming from cases in Noble County.
According to Trooper Brian Kreger, last night at approximately 9:00 pm, he received information from the Kendallville Police Department indicating that Ernest Ray Arnold, 34, of Kendallville might be in the area of Dupont Road and I-69. With the assistance of the Fort Wayne Police Department, Arnold’s vehicle was located in the parking lot of the Value Place hotel located at 2850 Dupont Commerce Court at approximately midnight.
At approximately 12:30 am, and after verifying with hotel management that Arnold was the occupant of one of their rooms, Kreger and other officers from the State and Fort Wayne Police Departments went to his room. Arnold was located, identified and taken into custody without incident. Arnold was allegedly in the possession of two handguns, one of which was loaded and precursors commonly associated with the production of methamphetamine. No meth labs were located in the hotel room.
A 26 year old female, who was in the room with Arnold was questioned and later released. Arnold was taken to the Allen County Lockup to be held on the LaGrange and Noble County warrants. Assisting were the Kendallville and Fort Wayne Police Departments.

o LaGrange County Warrant for Manufacturing or Delivering Meth w/in 1000 feet of School or Public Park, Class A Felony
o Noble County Warrant for Animal Cruelty
o Noble County Warrant for Failure to Appear for Dealing Meth, Class B Felony; Dealing a Schedule I, II or III Controlled Substance, Class B Felony; and Possession of Meth, Class D Felony
All Suspects Are Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law |
