[ISP] Scottsburg Man Arrested for Child Molesting

Entry Description

Scott County- Yesterday around noon, Detective Brian Busick from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg arrested Gary L. Amos, 33, from Larry Lane, Scottsburg, IN. He was incarcerated in the Scott County Jail on six counts of Child Molest, C Felony.

A complaint was made to the Indiana State Police in mid June, alleging Gary L. Amos had molested a thirteen year old female in Scott County, within the last couple of months. The arrest came after Detective Busick submitted the information he gained from his investigation to the Scott County Prosecutor’s Office and an arrest warrant was issued out of the Scott County Circuit Court for Gary L. Amos’s arrest.

Assisting Agency: Scott County Division of Family and Children.

All subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
