Washington County- Earlier this afternoon, a detective from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg, a Washington County Sheriff’s Detective, and a deputy from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, arrested Lori B. Brock, 41, from Bedford, IN. The arrest took place at her residence and was based on a warrant issued out of the Washington County Superior Court. 

The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began back on January 12, 2012, when the Salem Police Department received a tip from a caller. The tipster reported that Lori B. Brock allegedly faxed fraudulent prescriptions for controlled substances to pharmacies in Lawrence County. The investigation discovered that Lori Brock was a former employee of a medical facility located in Campbellsburg, IN.  Even though she was no longer employed by the Campbellsburg facility, she was still allegedly entering the business while it was closed and allegedly faxing fraudulent prescriptions to pharmacies in Lawrence County.

Lori B. Brock was incarcerated in the Washington County Jail and charged with the following charges: Burglary, C Felony, (12 Counts); Forgery, C Felony, (12 Counts); Attempting to Unlawfully Acquire a Controlled Substance, D Felony, (16 Counts) and Attempting to Unlawfully Acquire a Legend Drug, D Felony, (2 Counts)

All subjects are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
