[INDOT] Public Information Meeting regarding a road reconstruction project on S.R. 61 in the Town of Monroe City, Knox County

Entry Description
The Indiana Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 6:00pm (local time), at the Blue Jeans Community Center, 1242 Main Street in Monroe City, Knox County. 

The purpose of this meeting is to offer all interested persons an opportunity to comment on INDOT's proposal to eliminate segments of sidewalk within the project corridor that were proposed during the 12/29/10 public hearing.  The other elements of the project have not changed; specifically S.R. 61 will be reconstructed with 2-12' thru lanes with curb and gutter on each side of the roadway.  Additional project details will be explained in greater detail during the public meeting presentation.  INDOT project representatives will be available prior to and immediately following the presentation to address questions and concerns regarding the proposal.
