About the event

The 2012 event is hosted by Columbus Running Club, the City of Columbus, and Healthy Communities Initiative. The 16th Annual Mill Race Race and Mayor's Walk features scenic 15K & 5K courses—which  are flat, fast, and USATF certified. The courses wind through the heart of downtown Columbus, the essence of small town America. The routes showcase tree-lined city streets, lovely parks, a historical covered bridge, and world-renowned architecture. The courses use the park system's People Trails for a portion of the race.
