Entry Description
Vanderburgh County – Late last night and early this morning, Indiana State Police, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office and Evansville Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint on SR 62 east of I-164. Between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., officers checked 66 drivers that passed through the checkpoint and didn’t find any impaired drivers. “Twelve of the drivers submitted to field sobriety tests and passed,” said Sergeant Tom Weber. Officers did arrest Tiffani Lowe, 25, of Chandler, after they found she was in possession of marijuana.
A saturation patrol was conducted in the area of the checkpoint location and officers arrested Tracy King, 39, of Evansville, for driving while intoxicated. Lowe and King were taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail where they are currently being held on bond.
ARRESTED:
• Tiffani Lowe, 25, Chandler, IN
1. Possession of Marijuana under 30 grams, Class A Misdemeanor
• Tracy King, 39, Evansville, IN

The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
