Entry Description
Gibson County – Wednesday night, May 30, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Indiana State Police responded to 9665 South C.R. 1075 West near Owensville after a motorcycle rider lost control and crashed.
Preliminary investigation revealed Justin Harris, 27, of Owensville, was riding his 1980 Yamaha motorcycle southbound on C.R. 1075 South at a high rate of speed. Harris lost control, drove into the ditch on the west side of the roadway causing the motorcycle to flip several times. Harris was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a nearby mailbox. Harris was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville where he is being treated for fractures to his left arm and leg. The motorcycle was totaled.
