[INDOT] Public Information Meeting regarding a pavement replacement project on S.R. 56 in the City of Aurora, Dearborn County

Entry Description
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will hold a public information meeting regarding a pavement replacement project on S.R. 56 in the City of Aurora, from approximately 5th Street to U.S. 50 in Dearborn County.  The purpose of this project is to reconstruct the infrastructure in a manner that will provide long lasting improvements for the safety and mobility of roadway users.  The proposed project will involve complete pavement replacement, new curb and gutter construction and replacing sidewalks and storm sewer.  The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community with updated information regarding the status of the project including the maintenance of traffic plan, project schedule and allow the INDOT project team an opportunity to meet with project stakeholders.

WHEN: Wednesday, June 13, 2012
TIME: 5:30pm (Open House) 6:00pm (Formal Presentation)
WHERE: Aurora City Council Chambers, Aurora City Building, 235 Main Street in Aurora

The meeting will feature an open house session beginning at 5:30pm followed by a formal presentation at 6:00pm.  During the open house session, INDOT representatives will be available to address questions, comments and concerns.  Project maps, displays and project information packets will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the evening.  In an effort to better inform the community of project developments, information will be posted to our website at: http://www.in.gov/indot/3034.htm via the Public Involvement page immediately following the public meeting on 6/13/12.  Please visit the INDOT website to follow project developments and to receive project news and updates.
