I-465 & Allisonville Road Interchange:

I-69 Operation Indy Commute

  • I-69 northbound is restricted to two lanes at the exit ramp to 116th Street and SR 37 (Exit 5).  The exit is restricted to a single lane, which will be shifted to the right overnight Friday, May 11.

  • I-69 collector-distributor from 116th Street and to SR 37, as well as the 116th Street loop ramp and the SR 37 flyover, will have nighttime restrictions for pavement widening through Monday, May 14.  Nightly restrictions could continue if rain delays progress.

US 31 at SR 38

  • SR 38 at US 31 is closed from Anthony Road to Dunbar Road and has no entrance ramp access to US 31.  Reconstruction of SR 38 is expected to be complete by September.

  • US 31 at SR 38 is reduced to one lane in each direction.  Southbound traffic is redirected to share the east side of the roadway with northbound traffic.  US 31 northbound and southbound exit ramps to SR 38 are closed.

US 31 at Keystone Parkway & 146th Street

  • US 31 in both directions will have overnight stoppages early Saturday, May 19 beginning at 12 a.m. until 5 a.m. to set beams for the new overpass to carry southbound US 31 to Keystone Parkway over northbound US 31.  Traffic will be stopped at Greyhound Pass and Range Line Road for periods of less than 20 minutes at a time.

  • US 31 southbound to Keystone Parkway southbound closed on April 9 for 90 days for reconstruction.

  • US 31 southbound is redirected via median crossovers to share the east side of the roadway with northbound traffic between 151st Street and the Monon Trail, just south of Range Line Road and Clay Terrace Boulevard.  Two through lanes and turn lanes are maintained in each direction.  The existing southbound roadway is closed for reconstruction.

  • 146th Street over US 31 between Greyhound Pass/Lowes Way and Clay Terrace Boulevard/Western Way has a left lane restriction in both directions.

  • US 52/Brookville Road will be restricted to a single lane regulated by flaggers on Monday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as bridge beams are delivered and installed over the Buck Creek near German Church Road.

  • I-70 eastbound will have a right lane restriction between Post Road (Exit 91) and Mt. Comfort Road (Exit 96) from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12 for pavement repairs.

  • I-70 westbound has a 45 mph work zone speed limit in effect.  I-70 in both directions from Post Road (Exit 91) to just east of Mt. Comfort Road (Exit 96) has shifting work zone traffic patterns with median crossovers.  Two lanes of traffic remain open in both directions.

  • I-465 in both directions south of US 136 will have overnight double left lane restrictions to place beams on the bridges over Big Eagle Creek beginning Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18.  Nightly restrictions will last from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

  • US 40/Washington Street westbound has a median crossover to the south side of the roadway between I-465 and Glen Arms Road.  Two lanes of traffic are maintained in each direction as the north side of the road is reconstructed through May.
