West Side I-465 Restrictions

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will restrict traffic on Interstate 465 on the city’s west side next week as bridge beams are set at Big Eagle Creek.

Walsh Construction, the state’s contractor, will restrict the left two lanes in both directions of I-465 at the Big Eagle Creek bridges south of US 136 during overnight hours Monday, May 14 through Friday, May 18.  The nighttime restrictions will begin at 9 p.m. and lanes are expected to reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning.  The work is weather permitting and will be rescheduled in the event of rain.

  • Monday, May 14 – Southbound
  • Tuesday, May 15 – Northbound
  • Wednesday, May 16 – Southbound
  • Thursday, May 17 – Northbound
  • Friday, May 18 – Northbound
