[INDOT] Public Open House regarding the reconstruction of the I-465 / Allisonville Road Interchange in Indianapolis, Marion County

Entry Description
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is hosting a public open house to provide information about the reconstruction of the I-465 / Allisonville Road interchange, including the closure of the Allisonville Road bridge over I-465.  The open house will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 beginning at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. with presentations given at 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.  The open house will be held at the East 91st Street Christian Church, 6049 East 91st Street in Indianapolis (the first entrance to the church property east of Allisonville Road).

The items planned for discussion include:
* New interchange configuration
* Construction schedule
* Official detours and traffic mitigation efforts
* Ramp accessibility during the bridge closure
