[ISP] Posey County Man Arrested for Child Molesting

Entry Description

Posey County – Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation in February after receiving information that Robert C. Babillis, 71, of Mt. Vernon, had allegedly molested a four-year-old girl.

During the investigation, Detective Alan Sherretz revealed Babillis allegedly had the girl touch his exposed private area on more than one occasion while visiting his residence between June 2010 and November 2011.  Babillis was arrested at 9:15 this morning at his residence without incident.  He is currently being held in the Posey County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Robert C. Babillis, 71, 1315 Mocking Bird Lane, Mt. Vernon, IN
1.  Child Molesting, Class C Felony
